About Hays County Food Bank
Hays County Food Bank has been a service to local communities in Central Texas for 25 years.  They collect nearly a million dollars worth of food each year from various sources and provide it to thousands of people in need. The food bank operates out of a 2,300 square foot facility with seven employees in addition to the aid of volunteers.

Priscilla Hurst
Priscilla Hurst is a junior at Texas State University--San Marcos, majoring in Public Relations. After attending the University of Texas at El Paso for two years, she transferred to Texas State University in the fall of 2011.Priscilla is a public relations intern for Ruben Ruiz, award winning author, CEO, and financial advisor. She is also a promotions assistant for KTSW 89.9, and involved in the blog, social media, and creative committees. As an active member of campus organizations, she involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America, the Association of Women in Communications, TX State EDM organization, and is pledging with Catholic sorority, Mu Epsilon Theta. She is also a contributing writer for The Untz, a music website, and Be Heard Austin/Newsroom Ink.  

     
Marissa McMinn
Marissa McMinn is a junior at Texas State University-San Marcos, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. After obtaining many credits while in high school and attending her local community college for a year, she transferred to Texas State University in the fall of 2011.
Marissa currently works at Texas Roadhouse as a Hostess and plans to obtain a Public Relations internship in the fall of 2012. She is also on the Executive Board as Treasurer for the Public Relations Student Society of America. She made Dean's List for the fall of 2011 and was inducted into the National Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta in the spring of 2012. Marissa plans to graduate in May of 2013 and obtain a job in Austin, Texas.

Brianna Blowers
Brianna Blowers was born in Sugar Land, Texas and grew up in a large family with two younger sisters and twin stepsiblings. Volunteering has always been a big part of her life. Having a younger sister with autism encourages her to help spread the word about how serious the disorder actually is. She’s interested in photography, drawing and video games. Brianna currently attends Texas State University- San Marcos where she is a junior, majoring in advertising with a minor in psychology. She hopes to one-day make commercials that everyone enjoys watching and creating attention getting billboards and ads in magazines.
